The 2021 JWI Awards Dinner honored Attorney General William Barr. This private dinner took place in November of 2021 and included 84 select guests. Attendees heard from JWI Chairman Doug Neff as he talked about the impact of the James Wilson Institute as well as the goals of the organization moving into the next years.
Abby Moffat, Mary Ellen Bork, and Fellow Alumna Catherine Glenn Foster, also had the opportunity to share about their own experiences with the James Wilson Institute.
JWI Founder Hadley Arkes then addressed the guests about what makes the JWI perspective on jurisprudence unique. Professor Arkes, alongside Neff and Moffat, presented the Inaugural JWI Leadership and the Law Award to Attorney General William Barr.
Upon receiving the award, Attorney General Barr shared some heartfelt and thought-provoking remarks about the state of the nation and the need for a revival in education. The evening was closed by JWI Trustee Michael Maibach.
