VIDEO: Natural Law and Originalism: In Concert or At Odds?

On October 16th, the American Enterprise Institute's Center on Social, Cultural, and Constitutional Studies, in partnership with the James Wilson Institute, hosted a public webinar with Peter Wallison, Senior Fellow at AEI. Wallison was joined by JWI Founder and Director Hadley Arkes to discuss the basics of natural law, reflect on the coherence of originalism, weight the legal and political appeal of originalism, and consider how natural law should inform the work of a judge. Their discussion was introduced by JWI Deputy Director Garrett Snedeker and moderated by Prof. Joel Alicea of the Catholic University's Law School.
