Planned Giving & Giving Through Stocks and Bonds

JWI Planned Giving

Planned giving helps insure the important work of the James Wilson Institute is sustained long into the future. Your gift through your Will is not subject to estate taxation, no matter the amount - large or small. Your bequest to the James Wilson Institute may be given as a specific dollar amount, a piece of property, a stock or bond, a percentage of your estate, or all or part of the remainder of your estate. In the event the JWI becomes part of another non-profit organization with the same mission, your gift will transfer to help advance the work we do today. To make JWI a part of your planned giving, simply add the following language:

“I give, devise, and bequeath to the James Wilson Institute, 722 12th St. NW, Fourth Floor, Washington, DC 20005 [here insert specific dollar amount; percentage of estate; percentage of the residual of your estate; or describe property] to be used for its educational purposes.”
