A More or Less Perfect Union: Prof. Arkes Interviewing Judge Douglas Ginsburg at the National Archives

 

On Thursday, January 30th, Prof. Hadley Arkes will appear as a guest to interview Judge Douglas H. Ginsburg of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit. A national authority on the Constitution with 30 years of experience on the court, Judge Ginsburg recently hosted a series for public television titled A More or Less Perfect Union, which brought in experts of conservative, progressive and libertarian views on the Constitution to discuss and debate key issues of liberty. The series will explore both historical and contemporary examples of controversies over topics ranging from freedom of religion and the press to civil rights and the separation of powers. This special event hosted by the National Archives at the William G. McGowan Theater will feature a showing of some of the highlights of the series and a discussion between Judge Ginsburg and Prof. Arkes with a chance for audience questions.
