Judge George O'Toole

Judge George O’Toole is a federal judge with the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. He was nominated in 1995 by President Bill Clinton. Prior to serving as a federal judge, he served as an associate justice for the Superior Court of Massachusetts from 1990 to 1995. He was appointed by Governor Michael Dukakis. Judge O’Toole also served as an associate justice in the Boston Municipal Court from 1982 to 1990. Previously, Judge O’Toole was also a private practice attorney in Massachusetts from 1972 to 1982.

Judge O’Toole is a native of Worcester, Massachusetts, and is a graduate of Boston College. He received his J.D degree from Harvard Law School in 1972.
