Grant Strobl is an Assistant Solicitor General in the Nebraska Attorney General’s Office, where he authors briefs and argues in state and federal court on constitutional and administrative law issues. He also writes legal opinions and advises state agencies. Grant clerked for Judge Edith H. Jones on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and Judge David J. Porter on the Third Circuit. He earned his J.D., with honors, from the University of Chicago Law School. For over a decade, Grant has been an activist for conservative ideas, leading initiatives at the University of Michigan, including the 2016 protest against the university’s gender pronoun mandate. From 2017 to 2023, he served as National Chairman of Young Americans for Freedom and continues to be on its board of governors
