Peter is a Law Clerk in the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, and previously clerked in the District of Colorado. A graduate of Notre Dame Law School, Peter was a Senior Notes Editor on Law Review, a member of the Moot Court Board, vice-president of the Christian Legal Society, and a member of the religious liberty clinic. While in law school, Peter briefed and argued a direct criminal appeal to the Seventh Circuit, and worked on multiple Supreme Court briefs through the Religious Liberty clinic. His scholarship on the Comstock Act was published by the Pepperdine Law Review. In undergraduate, he studied political science, and, as a freshman, was the Pi Kappa Delta national debate champion. He continues to coach debate for homeschooled students in Colorado, where lives with his wife and two kids.
